We treat sick cats and dogs on a walk-in basis - just like human urgent care, but for your pets! Our mission: Bridge the gap between your regular vet and the emergency room. Turquoise Trail’s staff, training, and equipment are geared exclusively towards caring for pets who are sick enough that they should be seen as soon as possible, but not so sick that they require the services of a 24/7 emergency and critical care unit.

We’re getting ready to start our 2nd week of visits with local vets, so I thought it would be cool to show y’all what we’re bringing and why. In addition to the window stickers and brochures I posted a few weeks ago, we have (L to R): - A sample medical record! In addition to all the stuff these are required to contain, we’re adding a personal summary of each case at the beginning so your regular vet doesn’t have to read through the whole thing if they’re busy (we know they’re busy) - A sample referral email - A “Frequently Asked Questions” doc about our practice and our services to help explain those things to clients.
