Turnstone is participating in a pajama drive sponsored by the Long Term Care Ombudsman Program. They are seeking to collect 1600 pairs of pajamas that will be given to residents in 101 facilities located in 9 counties in Northeast Indiana. A tote for donations has been placed in the Plassman Lobby by the desk. The drive runs now through April 30. They are looking for new pajamas and sweatpants and sweatshirts.

Turnstone's Speech Therapy team is hosting a Social Skills Summer Group again this year starting June 2! Each small group will spend 8 weeks developing healthy social and communication skills among peers. Learn more: https://lnkd.in/gvudwvHZ

Turnstone's newest partner, Alliance Health Center (AHC), is scheduling appointments now! Through this partnership, AHC has established a clinic within Turnstone’s facility, providing vital services such as family medicine and counseling. Lauren Peterson, Turnstone's Active Aging Program Coordinator, is collecting book donations for a Book Swap Event on April 10. Thanks to their support, we’ve added rugby wheelchairs, racing bikes, hockey sleds, and a Motomed Functional Electrical Stimulation system—empowering individuals with spinal cord injuries and other disabilities to stay active and strong. Because of this incredible gift, our athletes and clients have more opportunities to push their limits, build confidence, and experience the power of movement. Thank you for making a difference!
