On this?#LevelUpSpotlight?on Veterans Day, get to know Aaron George, Maintenance Area Supervisor and Army Veteran. ???? Since joining?#TurnerIndustries?in 2021, Aaron has advanced from pipe fabricator to maintenance supervisor at our Freeport site, bringing resilience and dedication learned from his service. Thank you, Aaron, for your commitment to our team and our country!?#VeteransDay Q: What has been your journey to your current role? A: I was hired by Turner as a pipe fabricator at Turner’s Freeport Fabrication Shop in January 2021. I then took over as Capital Projects Foreman, running multiple shop and field projects and providing services to several different facilities. In June of 2023, I accepted my current position on Turner’s maintenance team. Q: What do you enjoy doing outside of work? A: enjoy spending time with my family. I especially enjoy watching my kid's rodeo. My son rides bulls, and my daughter is starting barrel racing. Q: What is the best advice you have received? A: Don’t expect life to get easier. Command yourself to get stronger. Q: What motivated you to join the military? How did you choose your branch of service? A: I wanted to be a part of something I could look back on with pride. I chose the Army because I was too cool for the Navy but wasn’t cool enough for the Marine Corps. Q: What is your favorite memory while serving? A: My favorite memory while serving was the day we got home from our tour. Seeing and finally getting to hug my wife and kids. ???? Thank you, Aaron and all Veterans, for your service.
