Since its launch in December 1996, the Turn 2 Foundation has created and supported programs and activities that motivate young people to turn away from drugs and alcohol and “Turn 2” healthy lifestyles. Through various specialized programs and events, the Foundation works with youth in New York City, West Michigan and Tampa, empowering them to reach their full potential. Its signature Jeter’s Leaders initiative is a four-year leadership development program that fosters academic achievement, positive behavior and social change among high school students. During its 24-year history, Turn 2 has given back more than $30 million, funding its signature programs as well as organizations that support its mission.

We're excited to share that we've expanded our Turn 2 Us programming to Crown Heights, Brooklyn in collaboration with NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital! Our #Turn2 team recently joined NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital on a visit to P.S. 243K - The Weeksville School, where we look forward to providing more youth, caregivers and families with vital mental health resources and workshops.

Driving #socialchange, one swing at a time at the 2024 Derek Jeter Invitational! Throughout the week, we made amazing memories, including Andruw Jones landing first place in the golf tournament at Royal Blue Golf Club on day one, and Derek Jeter and Paige Spiranac winning the title of tournament champion. This year’s event raised critical funds for #Turn2, which will help us expand our programming and empower more youth to flourish. We’re so grateful to Baha Mar for partnering with us to host another amazing event. Reflecting on his experiences with the #JetersLeaders, 2024 Jeter's Leader graduate Isaiah shared that the 2023 Jeter's Leaders Leadership Summit in Atlanta had a lasting impact on him. He enjoyed touring various colleges and giving back during the community service project, which benefitted local students. Recently, Isaiah started his college journey at Michigan State University to study chemical engineering with a concentration in material science. Way to go, Isaiah! #Turn2
