One year ago, we launched JumpHire, a beacon of hope for those without college degrees, breaking down barriers to success. In just 12 months, JumpHire has infused over $2 Million into underserved communities by connecting candidates to our incredible employer partners for life-changing career opportunities, creating ripples of positive change. We are thrilled to share the successes of our mission-driven initiative, with an impressive 85% placement rate! ?? Turning Dreams into Careers: The JumpHire Impact Pathways to Prosperity:?From unemployed to full-time employed with benefits, more than 30 individuals now support their families with dignity. Rewriting Financial Narratives:?Prior to joining JumpHire, candidates' cumulative income was just $433,000. Today, their collective earnings surpass $2 Million, a testament to the transformative power of our program. Building a Strong Foundation:?TCV's commitment goes beyond workforce development. Nearly three years into Russia’s full-scale assault on Ukraine, the conflict continues to devastate lives, displace families, and inflict unimaginable suffering. Amidst the destruction, a flicker of hope continues to shine through, fueled by the tireless efforts of volunteers on the ground. But their participation is about more than delivering aid—these volunteers embody the spirit of resilience, and the unyielding strength of a nation that refuses to bow. One organization making a significant impact is Vienna Mission for Ukraine. We are honored to support their work over the past year, most recently by providing a van that began operation on October 15. The van has already proven crucial in: - Delivering ~2 tons of aid daily(soon to be ~3 tons/day), including renovation and building materials, medical supplies, winter clothes, food, hygiene products, and fire extinguishers. - Transporting over 400 patients to hospitals in need of care With no end of the war in sight, and as winter approaches, the threat of greater suffering grows. The resolve of the Ukrainian people and volunteers remains unwavering, but they cannot face this crisis alone. We must stand firm in support of our allies abroad and defending the principles of democracy. Ukraine’s fight is not just their own—it’s a fight for freedom, for the values we hold dear, and for the protection of human life and dignity. Celebrating Artistic Partnerships in Chicago!?? We are excited to highlight a collaboration between Pullman Tech Workshop and Ignite Glass Studios, demonstrating the transformative power of art in our community! Pullman Tech Workshop, focused?on workforce development and empowering individuals through trades training, partnered with Ignite Glass Studios to create stunning blown glass panels for Pullman Tech's main entryway. During their visit to Ignite, Pullman Tech participants partnered with Ignite's skilled artists, contributing to a beautiful installation that will serve as a focal point for everyone who enters and leaves their workshop. The project not only beautifies Pullman Tech's space but also embodies the spirit of revitalization and collective effort, highlighting how art can play a vital role in community development by transforming ordinary spaces into vibrant environments that inspire awe and wonder. Today is Election Day, and each of us has the opportunity and responsibility to cast a vote for the future we want to see in America.
