This week marked our 4th Annual Tulane International Fútbol Negotiation Competition! As a 3L serving as a Senior Board Member alongside my friend Briley Chambers, watching this event come to fruition after long months of planning brought me pride and excitement. I want to give a big shout out to Tulane University Center for Sport for being the competition's presenting sponsor this year, and making everything possible. Over two competition days, 12 teams from 10 schools across the country negotiated contracts ranging from players and clubs from the European market to those of MLS and NWSL. A huge congrats goes out to New York Law School for taking home the championship trophy! Also, congrats to our very own Tulane University Law School team of 2L students for making it to the final round. Thank you to all the judges and competitors who came out this week to participate in our competition. We hope y'all thoroughly enjoyed your time in NOLA! And of course, I have thank the wonderful Junior Board Members who helped bring the competition to life! Sarah Houston, Alyssa Estepp, Gina Tangelo, and Cassandra F., I am beyond excited to see y'all continue to grow this competition next year!

Earlier this week, we successfully hosted the 4th Annual Tulane International Fútbol Negotiation Competition, and I couldn’t be more proud! As a Senior Board Member, it was rewarding to see a year of hard work come together, especially alongside my friend and Co-Chair Anuja Daulat. Witnessing the competition unfold was exciting and incredibly fulfilling. A huge thank you to the Tulane University Center for Sport for serving as this year’s presenting sponsor and making our event possible! Over two exciting days, 12 teams from 10 law schools put their skills to the test, tackling complex negotiations between MLS, the NWSL, and clubs and players from the European market. The level of preparation, strategy, and professionalism on display was truly impressive. Congratulations to New York Law School for emerging as this year’s champion!?And a special shoutout to our Tulane Law 2L team for an outstanding run to the final round—what a way to represent! To our judges and competitors—thank you for bringing your energy, expertise, and passion to the competition. We hope you had an unforgettable experience both at the negotiation table and exploring everything New Orleans has to offer. And to our Junior Board Members—your hard work made this event possible, and I have no doubt you will take it to even greater heights next year. ????

I am thrilled to announce that this fall, I will be joining the New Orleans Saints and New Orleans Pelicans as a Legal Extern! I’m eager to expand my knowledge of in-house legal operations for both an NFL and NBA team and gain invaluable hands-on experience in the sports industry. I’m incredibly grateful for all the support throughout this journey—what an amazing way to kick off my 3L year! Looking forward to learning and growing in this new role. #SportLaw #WomenInSportLaw

This past week, my teammates and I participated in the Tulane International Fútbol Negotiation Competition hosted by Tulane University Law School. As an avid enjoyer of football and an unapologetic FC Barcelona fan, I enjoyed getting to put my knowledge and interests to good use. I’m extremely proud of our team, Brandon Wolfe and Antonio Paternoster, for making it to the finals and grateful to have been part of a team with two of my good friends. I’d love to thank the Board for all their hard work, interesting prompts, and putting together a fun and successful weekend. I’m excited to compete again next year!

I’m excited to share that I will be joining the New Orleans Saints and New Orleans Pelicans as a Legal Extern next spring! Anyone who knows me knows my life has revolved around Saints football since before I could walk or talk. I’m incredibly proud and excited to contribute to the NFL and NBA teams that made me fall in love with sports. I’m grateful for such a full-circle moment and I’m honored to have the opportunity to work under both Vicky Neumeyer and Matt Sharpe.
