On Tuesday, April 1, The Tufts Lawyers Association, in partnership with the Office of Alumni Engagement and Tufts Career Center, cordially invite alumni and students who work in or are interested in the legal field to a networking reception and panel discussion focused on the intersection of healthcare law, policy, and wellness. Our panelists include alumni like Suzan Levin, J96, Chief Counsel at Pfizer. The program will run from 6-8 PM. Then, from 8-9PM, all alumni are invited to stay for additional mingling with delicious desserts, wine, and beer – all free of charge. The event will take place on-campus at 51 Winthrop St, Medford (Breed Memorial Hall). Each attendee will be emailed a pass so they can park for free on campus. "Police Corruption & Racial Violence in Boston: The 1990s to Now" Are you on campus or nearby? If so, please join us on Tuesday, February 4 from 4-6:30 PM in Barnum Hall LL008. Join a screening and discussion of Netflix’s Trial 4, a documentary about exoneree Sean Ellis’ fight to prove his innocence after being wrongfully incarcerated for 22 years for the murder of a Boston police officer. Following the screening, Ellis, now the Director of the Exoneree Network, will be in conversation with his attorney, Massachusetts lawyer Rosemary Scapicchio. This event is hosted by the Tufts University Prison Initiative of the Tisch College of Civic Life (TUPIT) with support from the New England Innocence Project, the Exoneree Network, and the Department of Race, Colonialism, and Diaspora at Tufts.
