Tuftco Corp. has announced the appointment of Mark Harman as president of its Tufting Systems Division and Jason Ledbetter as Director of Operations for that division, which is based in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Harman began his career in the carpet industry over 45 years ago, working summers during high school in his family’s company, Richmond Carpet Mills. After graduating from Southern Methodist University, Harman was a sales representative in Nashville and then later became Vice President of Richmond. Harman then joined Blue Ridge Carpet as Vice President of Product Development. In 2011, he moved to J+J Industries, now a division of Engineered Floors, as Director of Product Development. Harman joined Tuftco as Vice President of Global Sales in 2020. Ledbetter started at Tuftco as an Electrical Service Technician traveling the world to install and service tufting machines. He moved from that role to a sales position and eventually directed sales for a few years. He then was moved to direct all of Tuftco worldwide service in both mechanical and electrical fields. Tuftco Corp. can supply a carpet mill with all the necessary machinery to take yarn from the tufting process all the way through to finished carpet.
