Nationwide, only a third of domestic violence service agencies provide free legal representation. Tubman is proud to be one of them. Thanks to funders like the F.R. Bigelow Foundation, who have been supporting our work since 1988, we're able to assist over 3,000 people per year via our legal advocacy and representation services. Thank you!

We are extremely pleased to announce some new additions to Tubman's Board of Directors! Since yesterday was Harriet Tubman Day, you may be thinking, "Hey, whatever happened to putting her on the $20 bill?" Well good news, it may be coming! (In about six years, but who's counting?) "The new bill, called the 'Harriet Tubman Tribute Act of 2025' calls for the Treasury secretary to include the abolitionist's face on all $20 bills printed after Dec. 31, 2030, according to a draft of the bill obtained by NPR." https://lnkd.in/g_kqNkgH
