The Texas Society of Professional Engineers (TSPE) is a state society of the National Society of Professional Engineers. One of the largest state societies in the United States, TSPE was founded in 1936 to serve the interests of the individual engineer in Texas across all branches of engineering. Composed of 24 local chapters and eight student chapters, TSPE is the only active, established organization devoting its entire effort to the professional, ethical, economic, social and political aspects of engineering in Texas.

What a night at our annual TSPE Dallas Chapter Past President’s Reception. Once a year, we break bread together and share any insights or tips we can with the our Chapter President. The wisdom flowing around this table was palpable. So much knowledge…so much experience…so much passion. We must encourage each other to Champion, Promote, Advance and Unite the licensed practice of engineering. Last week TSPE Dallas Chapter hosted another So You Want To Be a PE event at Southern Methodist University. Our panelists helped give future Professional Engineers tips for the exam, applying for licensure, and life as a PE. A huge thanks to our panelists for sharing there knowledge and the SMU TSPE student chapter for helping organize this event!
