Selfies, videos, ads, and comments don't need to go viral for the wrong reasons. I saw a post today that made my blood boil, and most of us women (and men) deal with these on a daily basis. Every woman who posted a selfie this week, there was this fellow "who won't be named", on every post, and every comment. If you want to post a selfie, go for it ?? If you want to be a troll, be ready to take the heat ?? Let this be a safe space for networking, career support, and lessons on how to not be a J*rk ??♀? ?? How do you handle trolls online?

The tech world can be a circus, right? Where a few ideas, a logo, or even your entire concept gets "borrowed" faster than you can hit refresh. ?? This may be a long a** post, but someone needs to write it. The tech world, especially when you're in a male dominated industry like logistics & Transportation, everyone loves a good spectacle. You spend months, maybe years, ? perfecting your idea ? nurturing your brand and then boom, suddenly the "tech bros" or "logistics influencers" swoop in, copy it, slap their name on it, and act like they've reinvented the wheel. It's predictable, almost laughable at this point. But you know what? They can copy the product, the pitch, even the color scheme if they want but they can never be you. As a Black woman in tech, all woman at this point, in an industry who wasnt made for us, we know the deal. We work twice as hard, break down twice as many barriers, and push through twice as many closed doors, just to maybe, maybe get half the recognition or opportunities. And even then, there's always someone waiting to capitalize on what we create or build. But here's the thing they don't get: they can steal the idea, but they can’t duplicate the essence the grind or the community we've built around it. Because that takes more than just a quick copy & paste job, it takes vision & authenticity. And this is where it gets funny. In a world dominated by the "logistics Influencers," who never built anything or been in the industry *cough cough Elon* trying to build the next ? AI agents for logistics ? CRM for sales ? Supply-chain automation ? The next Flexport where everything looks and feels the same Innovation isn't just about who can code faster, who has the $$ backing them up, or push something to market first. It's about creating something real, something that actually resonates with people and helps people from the smaller companies to major corporations. And when you're a woman, breaking into that space, you're doing more than just creating tech. You're creating a culture a voice a movement a new idea a trend Something they can’t replicate no matter how hard they try. ? So go ahead, let them have their 15 minutes of fame with their imitation tactics. Let them think they’ve won by copying. But we know the truth. The real victory is in knowing they’ll never be able to bring the heart, the diversity, or the spirit that we do. Because the tech world isn’t just for the "Influencers" anymore, it’s for innovators, for people who think outside the box, and for voices that refuse to be silenced ?? The tech world might be going nuts over knockoff versions, but the real innovation? That comes from the ones who built it from the ground up. ?? ??
