    ?? Maryland Employers - Today Is the Day ?? ?? The new pay transparency law is in effect. Employers are now required to provide salary ranges on job postings. A quick checklist to make sure you are in compliance with the law: ? The law applies to all employers, regardless of size. ?? The law applies to all jobs that will be physically performed at least partly inside the state, which means any job available to Maryland applicants must contact a salary range. ?? The legislation calls for using an hourly pay or salary range based on an applicable pay scale, a previously determined minimum and maximum pay for the position, the pay of an individual holding a comparable position, or the budgeted amount for the position. ??
