A little over a year ago, I was showcasing trueHue at the Hub-Robeson Center at Penn State, which I had to skip class for. Last week I had the privilege of presenting trueHue Vision at the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO) engaging with top experts and leading companies in the field of ophthalmology. It was absolutely unreal to witness the support and enthusiasm for our modern color vision testing software from experts in the field. The positive feedback and professional endorsement have been truly inspiring, emphasizing the impact our technology could have on eye care. The interactions and strategic connections formed at the event have been pivotal, steering our direction and opening up new pathways for trueHue's development and integration.

???? Rethinking Traditional Color Vision Testing with trueHue Traditional color vision testing, often conducted using Ishihara plates, have been the standard for over a century. While effective for detecting certain types of colorblindness, these tests can be limiting due to their static nature and outdated format. The Ishihara test may not capture the nuanced difficulties individuals with mild or complex color vision deficiencies experience. TrueHue is challenging this old standard by integrating digital technology into color vision diagnostics. Our approach uses dynamic, interactive tools that not only make testing more engaging but also more accessible, to create a comprehensive diagnosis that can provide more personalized insights. By leveraging modern technology and data, trueHue's tests aims to identify a broader range of color vision deficiencies and provide detailed insights into each individual's unique color perception challenges.

Color Vision Testing in Schools ?? ?? Colorblindness often goes unnoticed until children face challenges in activities that require color discrimination, such as drawing, identifying maps or selecting colored objects. Without early detection, color vision deficiencies can impact educational development and self-esteem. Currently, only 11 out 50 states mandate color vision testing. Recognizing this, trueHue's test is designed as a simple, game-based color vision test designed to make the screening process engaging and non-intimidating.
