I'm so proud of the work our team at True Methane Technologies (TMT) is doing to drive real change! Collaborating with Oklahoma Environmental Services and Red Clay Renewables on this emissions testing project in Okmulgee County is a testament to the impact we can achieve by tackling orphan wells head-on. It's especially rewarding knowing that our data will help reduce methane emissions, alleviate taxpayer costs, and set the stage for a safer environment. A huge shoutout to our dedicated team and partners who make projects like these possible. Here's to making a lasting difference and leaving the Earth cleaner than when we found it! #ProudMoment #EnvironmentalImpact #TrueMethaneTechnologies #CarbonOffsets #OkmulgeeCounty #MethaneMonitoring
Last week, our team at True Methane Technologies (TMT) partnered with Jason Seneker, Oklahoma Environmental Services, & Red Clay Renewables for an exciting project in Okmulgee County! Together with Guardian Plug & Abandonment and Michael Goodman, P.G., we performed the baseline emissions testing for an orphan well, following the ACR at Winrock International protocol. This test marks a significant first step in a process that aims to eventually plug this leaking well and remove it from the OCC's orphan well list. Seeing firsthand how our emissions data can directly impact the plugging decisions and environmental health of our communities is incredibly rewarding. By reducing methane emissions, we're not only safeguarding precious air and water resources but also helping to alleviate taxpayer burdens tied to these orphaned wells. This collaboration is one of many steps we’re taking to transform well sites into lower-emission zones. It’s projects like these that drive our passion and commitment to emissions monitoring and data precision. Our group is incredibly grateful to work with such a dedicated team on solutions that protect both our economy and our planet. Please reach out to me if you have problem wells on your company portfolio, on your property, or on your uncle's farm! We know how to get them taken care of and show you how to turn uneconomic legacy wells into value-adding assets! #EmissionsMonitoring #MethaneReduction #EnvironmentalImpact #TrueMethaneTechnologies #OrphanWell #OkmulgeeCounty #ACRProtocol #CarbonX Taylor Landress Cailean Carlberg Jason Seneker Dan Genovese Norman Herrera Steve Antry Michael Goodman, P.G. NEW UN LARGE SCALE METHODOLOGY FOR WELL PLUGGING! Are you familiar with the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UN Climate Change)? If not, I encourage you to take a closer look! Earlier this month DnyaVert Holdings was able to achieve having a proposed new large scale methodology posted for final comments! The methodology (NM0387) is for Plugging Orphan, Idle & Abandoned Oil & Gas Wells (https://lnkd.in/gB7mnu9g). Not only is this the first methodology proposed for well plugging, but also the first deemed qualified by the United Nations. This methodology utilizes the BCarbon Methane Capture & Reclamation (MCR) Protocol for Plugging Orphan, Idle & Abandoned oil & gas wells. This process has been an incredible amount of work and there are so many people that came together to make this happen! We’re still not across the finish line, but the methodology should be up for approval in just a few short weeks! This approval will allow us to trade these credits on the compliance market. Companies interested in working with on going forward can simply just reach out to me! This is all just VERY positive news! Again, thank you to DynaVert Holdings, ALL Consulting, BCarbon, One Tonne Capital, True Methane Technologies (TMT), Carbon Offset Solutions, American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG), Society of Petroleum Engineers International, Jim Blackburn, Melanie Leigh Martin, Greg Wallace, Steve Hillmer, James Daniel Arthur, PMP, Ryan Corbin and so many other organizations and individuals. Thank you!

?? Field Trip Reflections: Shedding Light on Orphaned Wells ?? I had the pleasure of joining The Orphan Well Cooperative (TOWC) on a SWEATY tour through the sticks and ticks to find a few victims of industry neglect. Together, we embarked on a mission to uncover the reality of orphaned wells, and what we discovered was both sobering and inspiring. In the company of industry partners like Brooke Swain and Amy Townsend-Small, we ventured into the heart of neglected well sites, confronting the harsh realities of environmental neglect firsthand. Despite being hidden from plain sight, these sites posed significant environmental hazards, reminding us of the urgent need for action. Throughout the day, we explored three orphaned well sites, delving into discussions on the environmental perils they pose and brainstorming innovative solutions. It was a privilege to witness the expertise and passion of our fellow experts as we collectively navigated the complexities of this pressing issue. This experience has reaffirmed my belief in the power of collaboration and proactive engagement. Together, we can drive positive change within our industry and pave the way for a more sustainable future. Let's continue to amplify our efforts and work towards tangible solutions for orphaned wells. I am grateful for the opportunity to learn and grow alongside such dedicated individuals. Here's to progress, innovation, and a shared commitment to environmental stewardship! ?? HUGE thank you to Michael Beck and VentMEDIC Corporation for inviting me to this fantastic event.
