True Believers Community Connections is a 501(c)3 organization that was established in 2013 to address the issues, crisis, and needs of individuals and families. The organization provides supportive services, primarily education and training, to high-risk populations on their journey toward being equipped and developed as leaders. Our Vision: True Believers Community Connections take pride in empowering clients through education and training as a leadership development institution. Our vision is to become a primary resource and direct service provider for emerging leaders in the following areas: Mentoring *Professional Development *Leadership Development *Workforce Development *Business Development Our Mission: Our mission is to foster community relations throughout the local community by collaborating with community partners to offer supportive services for youth/young adults age 11 to 24 in the Auburn Gresham community, empowering young women and men to live healthy, productive lives. Our Focus: Our focus is on delinquency and violence prevention and our passion is to educate and train through service learning projects. We empower and equip emerging leaders by mentoring, professional development, leadership development, workforce development, and business development.

I had a remarkably eventful weekend, attending two galas in the same day. I ended the evening celebrating 120 years of service with St. Bernard Hospital which included the opportunity to witness the “Heart of Community” Award presented to Anton Seals of Grow Greater Englewood! What an awesome reason to celebrate!

I had a remarkably eventful weekend, attending two galas in the same day. I had the awesome privilege to be the partner speaker for Cradles to Crayons Chicago to express the collective impact we make in lives of the clients we serve in the Auburn Gresham community. With their continued support, we receive in-kind donations of coats, shoes, adult and children’s clothing, diapers, toiletries, backpacks, ect. for routine distribution to individuals and families in need. I couldn’t have asked for a better community partnership. The C2C Chicago Team is a blessing to TBCC and countless others. Truly we are better together!

God always shows up right on time! Thank you to Sisters in the Journey for the encouragement to Be Intentional - Be Impactful - Be Influential in life, work, and ministry. Because of your kindness and generosity, this “Seed to Soar” will be utilized to provide STEM programming for local youth to be exposed to higher-wage employment opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Our main priority is to educate, equip and empower youth and your thoughtfulness adds fuel to our passion to continue in the journey.
