TMWA is proud to congratulate John Enloe, our Operational Strategies Manager, on receiving the President’s Award, the highest honor from the WateReuse Association! John was recognized at the Annual Water Reuse Conference in Tampa, Florida, for his lifetime achievements in innovative water management and reuse. With over 40 years of experience in public and private sector water resource management, John has led groundbreaking projects that continue to shape the future of sustainable water solutions. His contributions include pioneering the first UV treatment facility for an unfiltered surface water source at Lake Tahoe, leading a major groundwater importation project, and spearheading Reno’s MF-Ozone-BACF IPR pilot study—a key effort in advancing indirect potable reuse for inland communities. John’s vision and leadership have made a lasting impact on water resiliency in the Truckee Meadows and beyond. We are incredibly grateful for his dedication and contributions to the industry. Congratulations, John, on this well-deserved recognition! #WaterReuse25 #SustainableWater #WateReuseConference #WaterInnovation #TruckeeMeadows #WaterManagement

WATER SUPPLY UPDATE: At TMWA’s 1/15 Board meeting, Sr. Hydrologist Bill Hauck reported that the region is off to a slow start as far as snowpack is concerned but remains in a solid position in terms of water supply. It’s still early to predict the outcome of this winter’s snowpack, but a significant amount of storage has carried over to this year. This means normal river flows are projected through 2025 and into 2026, no matter what happens this winter. To see the complete Water Supply Update, visit: https://ow.ly/49Xk50UJMaT
