Kelly is the President and Co-Founder of TruCare Provider Services, dedicated to growing the business, improving employee retention, and ensuring top-tier care for individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. A Cincinnati native, She graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a degree in Business Administration and has a background in hospitality, retail, and restaurants. Kelly began her career in this field as a Day Services Program Manager, where she utilized her customer service and leadership skills to foster a supportive and engaging environment for both employees and the individuals TruCare serves. Among her proudest accomplishments are transforming TruCare from a single-service agency to a multi-faceted provider in just six years, promoting internal career growth, passing state raise increases directly to employees, and balancing her role as a mother to 18-year-old twins while running a thriving business. In her free time, Kelly is learning ASL and Spanish, enjoys reading, and loves cooking or baking for her family. She’s volunteered for Junior Achievement and serves as a Brownie Troop Leader. Kelly’s two pet Rat Terriers, Remy and Luna, complete her bustling household. From Forest Park, OH, Krystal is an academic achiever with degrees from Southern Ohio College (Associate of Computer Science, Cum Laude), Wilberforce University (Bachelors in Organized Business Management, Magna Cum Laude), and Phoenix University (Masters of Forensic Psychology). ?? She's a corporate powerhouse too, having worked with U.S. Bank, leading her branch to award-winning success in back-to-back years! ?? Elizabeth “Beth” Babel serves as the Residential Services Scheduling Coordinator, ensuring our Residential team remains organized and all shifts are covered. Born and raised in Cincinnati, Beth pursued studies in Interpreting for the Deaf and Early Childhood Education at Cincinnati State. Her diverse career journey includes roles in Special Education, as an Emergency Room Registrar, a Primary Care Physicians Registrar, in Accounts Payable, as even as an Entertainment Liaison at a local Circus. Beth takes great pride in her work, delighting in the opportunities to enhance the lives of those we serve, especially by fostering their independence. She is a devoted parent to seven kiddos and finds joy in witnessing their achievements, work ethic, and pursuit. Outside of work, Beth enjoys attending her kids’ sporting events, managing her personal baking business, traveling, and catching a Cincinnati Reds game whenever possible. Winding down International Women's Week, meet Natasha Long ?? Natasha has worn many hats at TruCare and now leads as the Director of the Core Services Division. Originally from Indiana, she started with us just over a year ago in DD Services, where her exceptional work as a Quality Assurance Manager quickly made her a standout. Before stepping into Compliance, Natasha was a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant. This background helped her build great relationships with both our team and those we serve. Natasha genuinely enjoys learning about each person we support, finding out what makes them unique, and cheering them on as they reach their goals. She's passionate about making a difference every day and brings that enthusiasm to everything she does. Outside of work, Natasha is all about family. She loves spending time outdoors, hiking, and fishing with her spouse and kids. Her family-oriented nature and love for the outdoors bring a positive balance to her dedication at TruCare. The Ohio Arts Council (OAC) is accepting grant applications for several grant opportunities, including those within the Artists with Disabilities Access Program (ADAP). This year, Art Possible Ohio will provide technical assistance to OAC for the ADAP grant! Born in Middletown, OH, Ashley proudly carries her Panamanian ???? heritage as a first-generation American. She pursued her studies at Georgia State, earning a degree in Public Policy with dreams of becoming a politician or lawyer. However, during her time in college, Ashley discovered her true calling in Human Resources Administration, finding immense satisfaction in navigating the intricacies of admin tasks. Throughout her diverse career journey, Ashley has taken on roles such as Teaching Assistant and Business Owner, but her heart always led her back to HR. She thrives on making administrative tasks efficient and engaging, and she loves supporting staff every step of the way, from hiring to career advancement. One of Ashley's fondest work memories is from 2017, when she hired a young man who later thanked her for helping him find a fulfilling career. Beyond her professional life, Ashley cherishes time with her family and friends and proudly claims the title of one of the world's greatest aunts. Three days left before?#IWD2025?and we'd like to shine a light on our Chief Operating Officer!??Meet Ashley, a dynamic member of the leadership team at TruCare.?Describing her job as “whatever it takes to get it done,” she’s been a cornerstone of our success in the developmental disabilities field. Starting out as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) 20 years ago, Ashley has poured her heart and soul into this profession. We’re grateful for her expertise! From Lebanon, OH, Ashley balanced getting her college education earning a degree in Business with a focus on Medical, all while excelling as a DSP. Her Direct Support experience has equipped her with the insights and expertise needed to ensure our agency thrives. For Ashley, staying in the DD field was an easy choice: no two days are ever the same and the joy of hearing personal stories from the individuals we support is unparalleled. “There’s nothing better than someone telling us that we’ve changed their life. That’s what it’s all about,” she says. Ashley takes immense pride in TruCare’s efficient service delivery and the dedication our team brings to the field. “I’m extremely proud of what we’ve accomplished and how many people we’ve educated about the services that can help them or someone they know. I’m excited for what’s yet to come!” She’s also worked hard at managing public speaking anxiety and shines as a representative for TruCare at Technology Expositions and DODD events. During her travels across Ohio, Ashley loves exploring new places and sampling the offerings of local coffee shops.
