Troutwood is proud to share and honored to receive a significant social impact investment from the Richard King Mellon Foundation. Yesterday morning, the Foundation announced $1.4 million in SII funding for four local Pittsburgh Companies. "The Social-Impact Investment Program, or SII, focuses on early-stage investments to help new companies to develop and launch products or services to advance one or more of the foundation’s philanthropic program areas — either environmental conservation, economic development, economic mobility or health and well-being." Troutwood was selected in the area of economic mobility. Specifically, because of our ability to advance individual/household financial well-being and empowerment through software. This investment will help to expand our outreach efforts and product development. Thank you ?? It's a different world ?? for new grads . . . I've seen six figure student loan amounts each of the past 10-years, but (1) the percent of students with, and (2) total amount borrowed, have both been steadily increasing. The sample size I interact with is small, but 1 million people IS NOT! Add private rate variable loans to this ?? ?? and it's a becoming a difficult puzzle. ? The ROI (Return on Invesment) of borrowed money can and SHOULD BE calculated before borrowing - not after ? ??
