Today we celebrate the birthday of Theodore Roosevelt! ?? On October 27, 1858 T.R. was born, 24 years later he first arrived to the North Dakota Badlands. In 2024, we're still proud to celebrate his story in Medora!

We've been having so much fun this Fall. From the season finale of the Medora Musical, the success of our 22nd Annual Hot Air Balloon Rally, and the opening of our fall show Ring of Fire, it's been a truly spectacular season in Medora! As we kickoff another wonderful month out West, we're excited to see guests come to town and enjoy excellent entertainment, unique events, and take in the beauty of the Badlands!

The magic of Medora takes a lot of hands and hard work ??? Thanks to our team of talented employees, dedicated volunteers, and gracious donors historic Medora continues to thrive. We'd like to give a special thank you to our partners at North Dakota Petroleum Foundation for the generous support.?

This week, 141 years ago Theodore Roosevelt arrived to the North Dakota Badlands. Here he found healing, peace, and inspiration. His time in Medora forever impacted him and helped shape him into a great leader!
