Some members from our team are spending part of the week in Erwin, Tennessee to help the victims of Hurricane Helene. The devastation is harrowing, but the community response here is beautiful. There are crews here from Indiana, Ohio, Virginia, Kentucky, and many other places. Seeing this community come together has been absolutely inspiring. There are still very very big needs for skilled contractors in the following areas. If you are willing to come to Erwin, Tennessee for a day or two, or a week, to volunteer, please message us and we will connect you with some local contacts: -Plumbers -Electricians (very needed) -Carpenters -etc. We spoke with Riverview Church (photos shown here) who had part of their building washed away in the flood and they mentioned they are looking for donations for the following items. Again, please message us if you are willing to donate any of these items and we will connect you with their team: -(2) 5-ton AC units -(2) gas furnaces (120,000 BTU) -lots of lumber (2x4, 2x6, 2x10) -3” screws 25T -There are still TONS of construction materials needed in this town, far more than what is listed above. And needs are coming in daily for locals who need help cleaning up their houses and properties. This past month we had 49 move-ins and over $66,000 in new leases signed.??This is a 222% increase from our previous highest month of 22 move-ins. This is amazing.?This is primarily due to our stellar leasing team, but we also made the following strategic changes this past month: -Trying out an after-hours leasing line for availability after 5pm on weekdays and Saturdays. -We automated our LeadSimple new lead pipeline so that leads are auto-uploaded into our CRM to allow for instant response for online inquiries providing instant ability to schedule tours from potential residents (immediate texts and emails with leasing info). -We increased our hours of our remote leasing team member to handle the increased leads. -We purchased and installed new Leasing signs at multiple properties with a QR code to instantly tour on site.
