?It's We Show Up Wednesday!? Today, we shine the spotlight on Lauren, an RN on our medical-surgical floor. Patients consistently comment on Lauren's awesome attitude and incredible care. No matter how small an interaction may seem, they always have big impacts on others. Lauren spoke about one experience today: "Today, we brought the therapy dog into a patient’s room, and she started crying tears of joy. These are the moments that make my job so amazing. It doesn’t take a whole lot to make someone’s day. But even these small things can mean so much to a person.” Thank you, Lauren, for all that you do for our patients. ?? #WeShowUp #CareLikeFamily

This weekend, colleagues from TriStar Southern Hills joined more than 60 colleagues from TriStar Health to travel to Asheville, North Carolina to support, assist and provide relief to caregivers at HCA Healthcare affiliate Mission Hospital. As Hurricane #Helene swept through Western North Carolina this week, it brought torrential rain, widespread power outages and cell service disruptions. Through challenging days, colleagues have selflessly served their community and supported Mission Health patients without hesitation. We are proud to support our fellow HCA Healthcare colleagues as their community continues to recover. Thank you for showing up for each other. #HealthierTomorrows #HCANursing

It's We Show Up Wednesday! Today, we shine the spotlight on Noah, an RN in our critical care unit. A family recently recalled their deep appreciation for Noah after their loved one passed away. The family grieved very openly and Noah was incredibly passionate about being with them, even while still in orientation and adjusting as a new nurse. Noah is a recent grad, and already making a great impact on our patients and their families. His compassionate care is just one of the many ways Noah shines as a critical care nurse.
