This afternoon, President Gold joined university leaders, elected officials, business leaders and others to release the university’s latest economic impact report. The report reveals that NU generates a $6.4 billion economic impact on Nebraska annually and supports one in every 20 jobs in the state. Conducted by national consulting firm Tripp Umbach, the report highlights the university’s vital role in workforce development, research innovation, and community prosperity. The 2024-2025 Allegheny Health Network CHNA comprises eleven comprehensive reports – one for each hospital (and a collective report for the four Neighborhood Hospitals) – fulfilling the requirements of the Affordable Care Act for tax-exempt hospitals. These reports identify health issues and provide essential information for driving positive change. Using these findings, AHN will address health disparities and needs. This requires ongoing commitment from AHN, community partnerships, and individual community members.
