2025. It’s a new year, and we’re starting it with reflection. Four years ago, we started 444 Inc. with an idea: a location sharing pepper spray device. Our goal: create a sleeker, smarter way to keep people safe. Armed with a small confident team and enduring entrepreneurial spirit, we began our journey to make this idea a reality. We created a prototype. That prototype turned into a working product. And with constant effort, that product landed us an exclusivity agreement with Mace. Our pepper spray device, SmartMace, was born. Months of pitching, continued development, and endless drive took us to CES in 2023, where we pitched our product to leading members of the tech industry. We continued customer discovery, made connections, and grew a loyal team. Every step we took, our passionate idea came closer to market. Perfecting the SmartMace design, we crafted the 444 Safety App. Allowing bluetooth connection between SmartMace and user, our location sharing technology materialized. Offering self defense and device tutorials, our team spent months developing innovative ways to provide safety to users. But no venture comes without roadblocks. From changing product developers and manufacturers, to making tweaks to our SmartMace design model, our grit continues to push us forward. Today we are refining our key partnerships, continuing to raise capital, innovating our app, and learning everyday! We aren’t too far out from launch, but if you’ve ever been an entrepreneur, you know that things are unpredictable and pivoting is inevitable. Nevertheless, nothing great comes easy. We’ve put everything on the line. And putting all doubts aside, we are full time. This is just the start, we have big plans to innovate with SmartMace and our app to revolutionize the self defense industry.
