Unfortunately, for most of us, there will be a time when someone in our family will be affected by cancer. In a single moment, lives and dreams can change forever. Co Founders, Thomas Loria and Mike Reese are no exception to this devastating disease. Both their Dads lost their fight with cancer, and understand affect the illness can have on family, friends, and community. For Thomas and Mike, the stress and loss due to cancer happened well after their playing careers had ended. Their fathers and family were an important part of their support while playing baseball. How would their lives have been different if they experienced all of this during high school or even at a younger age? Would baseball still be an integral part of their lives or would the dream have to be put on hold? The Triple Crown Cancer Foundation was established to help answer those questions and more. We are dedicated to being a support for young baseball players who face the daily challenges of cancer and still want to hold on to the dream of continuing to play baseball. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of young baseball players by giving them the support they need to…Play Ball.
