Thank you to COMTO North Texas Chapter for having our very own President & CEO, Rich Andreski, as a fireside chat panelist to discuss the transit and economic development opportunities available in our city and region as we continue to drive growth together. When asked about how Trinity Metro TEXRail spurs transit-oriented development around train stations and throughout the corridor, Rich shared the following response-

"While Trinity Metro, Fort Worth’s Metro Transit Agency, can tout a couple of hundred vehicles — including buses — and an impressive rail line from downtown to DFW Airport, its budget and capabilities pale when compared to similar cities. According to their 2024 budgets, of the five most populated cities in Texas with Metro Transit Agencies (Austin, Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, San Antonio), Fort Worth spends the least amount on public transit, per capita, than any of its in-state peers." Trinity Metro TEXRail has exciting new updates coming soon. To make traveling more simple and convenient, we're increasing the frequency of midday trains to every 30 minutes. We received an array of feedback about how riders are connecting to their life with the help of Trinity Metro TEXRail and we're excited to make this update for those navigating to the airport, getting to their next class, or heading to their next shift at work. Trinity Metro is excited to announce the appointment of Anette Landeros as its Chief Strategy Officer, effective December 2024. This newly created position reflects Trinity Metro’s commitment to taking its innovation and strategic planning to the next level as it continues to expand services and enhance connectivity across the region. Anette Landeros brings a wealth of expertise to the role. As President and CEO of the Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, she led the organization to new heights of success. Before her tenure at the Chamber, Landeros spent 12 years with the U.S. Department of Transportation in the Office of the Inspector General. The Orange Line, which offers service between downtown Fort Worth and the historic Fort Worth Stockyards, has been an exceptional addition to our options for connecting people to life. We're hearing from our new and existing riders alike about how helpful the 15-minute frequencies are when traveling to an entertainment venue, commuting to their next shift at work, or even catching a quick ride back home. We were proud to launch this eye-catching service last month, in partnership with Visit Fort Worth, Fort Worth Stockyards and downtown business leaders. This past weekend, our Trinity Metro family celebrated our annual Roadeo event! We enjoyed a fantastic day filled with skill and teamwork as our dedicated bus operators, maintenance teams, and customer support providers demonstrated their talents through friendly competition. Incredible expertise was on full display in areas like navigating through numerous driving obstacles, troubleshooting and diagnosing vehicle issues, and resolving challenging timed customer support call prompts.
