It's Transit Employee Appreciation Day, and we're extending?our heartfelt thanks to our team with all-day breakfast and lunch! We're thankful for our employees who go above and beyond every day, demonstrating the crucial role that dedication and hard work play in keeping our community connected and thriving. Let's all show some appreciation for our early risers, late-night drivers, problem solvers, and the friendly faces greeting you each day who make our journeys safe, comfortable, and reliable!

Last week, we welcomed Congressman Marc Veasey to our agency for his “Marc Means Business Day." Congressman Veasey began the day as a Trinity Metro Envoy, riding along Lancaster Avenue to visit with customers and Trinity Metro team members, learning all the ways in which Trinity Metro serves the public. He toured our operations and maintenance departments, participated in vehicle inspections and maintenance tasks, then continued through our customer support and solutions team to hear a customer conversation to see how requests are handled. We also heard from Congressman Veasey about his recent experiences and enjoyed a candid Q&A regarding policy goals. He wrapped up his day with a tour of the Trinity Metro TEXRail Mahaffey Maintenance Facility, where he learned more about rail operations and future projects. Special thanks to Congressman Marc Veasey for another exciting time during "Marc Means Business Day."

Trinity Metro is our name and MOBILITY is our game.???? Did you know the Trinity Metro has been working diligently towards merging our paratransit or micro transit services?! In other words soon our elderly and individuals with disabilities will be able to request same day, on demand transportation services via a convenient app. Currently this community is accustomed to calling their local transit agencies and scheduling rides a day in advance, then calling back and amending their schedule if it changes. This at-your-fingertips service will allow those who choose to use the app to request rides, amend their trips, and monitor the vehicle arrival and journey! HUGE step forward in terms of their personal independence and mobility!!! (Call center service will still also be available for those who need or prefer it.) Driving into work today behind one of our On-Demand vehicles made me very proud that Trinity Metro is literally “Connecting People to Life”.

Thank you to everyone who joined us at Visit Fort Worth's Annual Meeting and stopped by our Orange Line bus display! Also, big thanks to the Squeezebox Bandits & Hear Fort Worth for providing live music!?It was great to see so many of you take the time to explore the bus and snap some photos as you headed into the Fort Worth Convention Center. The event showcased the booming impact of tourism in Fort Worth, and Trinity Metro is proud that the Orange Line is playing a key role in making iconic spots like the Stockyards and Downtown Fort Worth more accessible!

We’re excited that Anette Landeros will join us as Chief Strategy Officer beginning next week, Dec. 16. Anette brings a wealth of expertise to the role, including her background as President and CEO of the Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, where she led the organization to new heights of success. She also brings 12 years of experience with the U.S. Department of Transportation in the Office of the Inspector General to guide Trinity Metro’s ambitious growth plans. As we look ahead to an exciting future, this new role underscores our focus on innovation, strategic partnerships, and community impact. Welcome aboard, Anette!

Trinity Metro Builds on TEXRail’s Success with Stadler Fleet Expansion Stadler and Trinity Metro signed a contract today for four additional Stadler DMU FLIRT vehicles. The trains will join an existing Stadler DMU FLIRT fleet, which has successfully been in operation in Fort Worth since 2019. ? “We have a strong partnership with Trinity Metro, that goes back to 2016. The TEXrail project was the first project Stadler US got to assemble on US soil from start to finish.
