The Collective Appeal of Single Cask As the population of true whisk(e)y enthusiasts continues to grow, so too grows innovation and premiumization. Our design of the Single Cask Collection for Virginia Distillery Co.’s Courage & Conviction elevated the brand’s portfolio and helped VDC deliver something special and rare to their key audiences. - For consumers: Whiskey connoisseurs appreciate that every cask tastes different and the closer-to-pure flavor of the signature malt that cask strength provides - For retailers: Cask programs drive sampling and purchase (and encourage promotion!) ? Design leaned heavily into the brand’s sophisticated color palette with a full wash of deep, rich jewel tones. On the bottle a strip label with handwritten cask details and copper bar top signal the extraordinary quality and care put into the collection. Our challenge was to continue to accelerate All Day’s engagement and growth by recruiting new LDA drinkers with an ownable creative campaign. The best strategic resource is the work that has been successful. Building on the momentum of our successful All Day campaign, ‘It’s All in the Taste’ which harnessed insights from our mindstates segmentation study focusing on togetherness, key occasions, and product attributes, we seamlessly transitioned to our latest campaign for All Day, ‘Have it All with All Day’. With this campaign, our objective was to leverage learnings from the previous campaign, establish visual ownership, and communicate the message, with All Day you can have it All: easy drinking, refreshing, deliciously flavorful and perfectly balanced beer making the good times great and the ordinary extraordinary. All Day’s iconic red canoe has long been a recognizable brand identity asset for All Day, so we centered our creative concept around it. The canoe serves as the focal point of our creative strategy, aiming to entertain and establish a strong creative identity whilst successfully making the ordinary extraordinary in our creative. We loved working with Founders Brewing Co. to develop Mortal Bloom IPA, a new-to-world craft beer designed to directly appeal to LDA Gen Zers who are unapologetic in driving change in the beer industry. Our portfolio architecture program for Founders uncovered an opportunity to create a craft beer specifically for Gen Z, also referred to as Zoomers or Gen Zers. This generation is pushing innovation in craft beer, seeking high-quality, flavorful and easy-drinking beers that deliver on experience. Today we are excited to share our work on Mortal Bloom, a brand with a “Keep Life Colorful” strategy and brand world reflecting the belief that life should be lived in big, bold, beautiful color. Mortal Bloom’s identity system brings all-important pop and personality to every touchpoint, extending beautifully across digital platforms, environments, and merchandise, designed to directly appeal to Gen Z.
