?? A sinkhole has closed part of I-80 in New Jersey—we’ve added an emergency closure in Trimble routing and navigation solutions to optimize customer routes! No update is required for users. ??? A sinkhole on the eastbound side of I-80 in northern New Jersey has caused the closure of a stretch of highway beginning at Exit 34. Emergency crews are making repairs and vehicles are being diverted, but we estimate this impacts more than 8,000 routes planned by our customers. In response to this event, we’ve added an emergency closure to Trimble routing and navigation solutions to provide truck-safe and truck-compliant routing around the impacted area. Routes will automatically be adjusted to avoid the closure and traffic, so vehicles reach their destinations as safely and efficiently as possible. ?? Recently I was on a call with a customer discussing an enhancement I was considering and I was humbled pretty quickly when they brought up a use case I didn’t think about that changed the whole landscape of the feature. Even with all of my experience, it’s clear that I can still continually learn from our customers. As a Trimble product manager, I need to continually hear customer feedback (likes, dislikes, and how their world is changing) to ensure we are consistently delivering value. Here's how we try to do it better: Product Advisory Councils: ?? Collaborating with top customers and industry experts for continuous feedback. Frequent Customer Conversations: ?? Regular, direct chats to understand their needs and challenges. Using Customer Feedback tools: ?? Collecting and prioritizing feedback using advanced technologies like artificial intelligence to turn insights into actionable improvements. By placing our customers at the heart of our product development, we create solutions that resonate and deliver exceptional value. This dedication drives our innovation and sets us apart.
