This past week I was able to meet up with our Chicago office and one of our sister companies, The Mannik & Smith Group, Inc., in Kansas City, Missouri for MAASTO (Mid America Association of State Transportation Officials). MAASTO 2024 provided an opportunity to connect, learn, and grow alongside talented colleagues. The event was filled with insightful breakout sessions, and a focus on safety topics, such as using automation to keep work zones safe, along with new technology in transportation and topics on leadership and diversity. Our happy hour at Jack Stack Barbecue was a success too! It was a great time to connect with colleagues, enjoy great BBQ and evening conversations.
