Trilogy’s first SXSW! All 4 days were fun, busy, overwhelming and inspiring. It was amazing to meet people from around the world who love production as much as we do. TV and film shape culture, spark conversations, and bring stories to life. It’s not just entertainment, it’s an art form that deserves to thrive. I’m grateful to play a small role in giving filmmakers and other creators a space to do what they do best with very cool and innovative tech!

Texas isn’t playing around when it comes to the future of production. A new era is coming to the Lone Star State, and specifically Dallas- Fort Worth is ready, ready to house crews, feed crews, and create jobs for Texans. Exciting things ahead for film, TV, and commercial production in our state! #TexasFilm #DFWProduction #FilmIndustry #MadeInTexas #ledwall #XRstage #VirtualProduction
Monumental News From the Texas Capitol! $500 Million Every Biennium for a Decade TXMPA extends our deepest gratitude to Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick for his exceptional, steadfast support of our industry, and to Senator Joan Huffman and Representative Todd Hunter for their leadership in championing this historic effort. Their commitment to Texas' film, television, video gaming, and digital media industries is truly remarkable. With the filing of SB 22 and HB 4568, these bills represent an unprecedented show of support, proposing a level of funding our incentive program has never seen - $2.5 billion over 10 years. This transformational investment would create jobs, strengthen our creative economy, solidify Texas as a top destination for media production and ensure Texas stories are told by Texans in Texas. Our Executive Director Fred Poston had this to say, “This funding will position Texas as a leader in film, television and interactive media production, driving economic growth statewide and creating countless opportunities for media professionals. The return on investment is undeniable—this commitment would solidify Texas as a powerhouse for entertainment production.”

I'll never film outside again! ?? Seriously though, I do love filming in real world environments and the challenges they bring that make beautiful ad spots and feature films. However, you gotta check out this place and the advantages of filming in a fully temperature controlled, sound proof, never running out of "sun" and unlimited creative options in backgrounds/worlds to film in. ?? Trilogy Studios has the largest volumetric wall in Texas, where you can bring any world you dream up to life. While it is an investment to shoot on one of these and you need a strong team, like CinemaStory, to know how to bring it to life it saves you tons of time from not having to change locations or worry about time-of-day which equals...saving you lots of money in production. ?? Volumetric walls are a great option and Trilogy is a great place to tour for your next project! ?

I had the incredible opportunity to direct and DP a music video for Amethyst Michelle at Trilogy Studios, home to the largest Volume Wall in Texas. Stepping into the world of virtual production at this scale was an unforgettable experience, and I’m excited to finally share some behind-the-scenes moments from the shoot. None of this would have been possible without the dedication and talent of this amazing team: Talent/Dancers: Kevin Wold & Sophia Modrycki Set Design: Keylee & Jack Springer Hair & Makeup: Sydni Silver Camera Team: 1st AC Les Wu, 2nd AC Jeff Hampton Virtual Production: Hunter Bartley Trilogy Team: Sara Joyner, and Taylor Trucker Grip Support: Ryan Mitchell BTS & Stills: Ben Vallance Editor & DP: Luke Asper A huge thank you to Trilogy Studios for providing such an incredible space to create. Seeing this project come to life on the Volume Wall was a surreal experience, and I couldn’t have asked for a better crew to make it happen. Check out these BTS moments, and if you haven’t seen the final video yet, go watch it now! #MusicVideo #BehindTheScenes #VirtualProduction #TrilogyStudios #Director #DP #Filmmaking
