It has been about 15 years as a dream project and took some unexpected life turns to bring it into reality! I am excited to launch The Montessori Marketplace with my fellow Montessorians, Salome Fernando and Felecia Jefferson. We have many ideas about how this organization will serve our communities, including parent and teacher workshops, affordable classroom-loved materials, and thrifted, new, and handmade items. We look forward to sharing more as the organization moves from our launch last weekend at the Virginia Montessori Association Conference to providing in-person learning and shopping opportunities!

We're excited to share the Call for Proposals for the P2P Summit 2025 on the intersection of Montessori education and inclusion! This virtual event from TrilliumMontessori.org and ClassrooMechanics will be held in April 2025. This event will focus on strategies for creating inclusive classrooms that support neurodivergent students, promote mental health, and ensure accessibility for learners with physical disabilities. Educators are eager to support all students and are seeking effective, neuroaffirming strategies to meet the diverse needs of learners. We are seeking experts to develop sessions that offer practical, actionable strategies while staying aligned with Montessori principles and neuroaffirming practice.
