Education, Employment & Training, Community Safety, and Family & Wellness — the pillars of POIC’s work for Portland’s underserved communities — have been raised even higher, thanks to YOU. The dedication of the POIC staff was on full display at the Gala. Rosemary Anderson graduate Duke Mitchell shared his powerful journey, and Board Chair-Elect Dr. Robin Beavers lifted our spirits with her energy and dance moves, sharing how her mother attended POIC to obtain her GED and support her family. Her story illustrates how, for generations, POIC has been there, transforming lives one person at a time. And because of YOU, we surpassed our fundraising goal of $500,000! Your generosity is an investment in our programs, our team, and our shared mission to continue expanding support for the community — no matter what the future holds.
