Maritime Security Services. Industry Training. Security Consulting. Technology Development and Application. Global Executive Protection. Commercial Maritime. Oil and Gas. Trident Group was established in April of 2000 and incorporated in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Trident Group (TG) was founded by U.S. Navy Special Operations personnel (SEAL) and Senior, U.S. Navy Surface Warfare Officers, in order to fill an observed gap in security consulting, technology development, technology implementation, and manpower application to the worldwide maritime community. TG initiated maritime services with the training of ship based security Teams in support of vessel Force Protection Operations as well as providing security assessments of critical port facilities. Simultaneously, TG addressed the Piracy problem which plagued the East in areas such as the Malaccan and Singaporean Straights. Today, TG is providing services to private sector clients, national infrastructure facilities, Gas and Oil assets both ashore and afloat and commercial customers managing merchant vessels transiting the high risk waters (HRW) of the world. TG, with our proven history of service and commitment to assets both in and around the maritime environment, is one of the few companies that came into existence, prior to 9/11, with the skill and capability to provide effective security and consulting support for the maritime and critical infrastructure industry.

  • Is the future of border security shifting to the sea? The U.S. Navy has deployed a second Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer, the USS Spruance, to the Gulf of Mexico to support maritime border operations—joining the USS Gravely. This unprecedented move underscores growing concerns over smuggling networks turning to sea routes as land borders become more secure. ??? Key Mission Focus: ?? Maritime Interdiction – Working alongside Coast Guard Law Enforcement Detachments (LEDETs), both ships will intercept illicit trafficking operations. ?? Counter-Narcotics Success – The Coast Guard recently seized $141 million worth of illicit drugs, highlighting the strategic value of maritime operations. ??? Advanced Threats – Smugglers now use remote-operated vessels and submersibles, demanding a high-tech, coordinated response. Maritime Security Requires Integration & Intelligence At Trident Group America, we support U.S. maritime security efforts with a full suite of services: ??? Maritime Interdiction Support – Intelligence-led planning and vessel protection in high-risk corridors. ?? Cybersecurity for Naval Assets – Safeguarding communications, navigation systems, and operational integrity. ? Tactical Training for Interdiction & Deterrence – Preparing crews for real-world maritime threat environments. As adversaries evolve, so must our defenses. The deployment of high-capability warships for border operations is a strategic shift that demands technology, intelligence, and readiness working in sync. ?? What role should the private sector play in supporting maritime border security? Let’s discuss. #MaritimeSecurity #NavalDefense #USNavy #BorderSecurity #ThreatDetection #DrugInterdiction #TridentGroupAmerica #NationalSecurity

  • When tragedy strikes a school, leaders are thrust into a crisis they never expected. Mansfield, Texas Superintendent Kimberley Cantu found herself in this position after a 2021 school shooting at Timberview High School. Despite having safety plans in place, she quickly learned that true crisis response requires far more than procedures—it demands immediate decision-making, emotional resilience, and a long-term recovery strategy. AASA’s new Superintendent Response and Recovery Network is stepping in to support leaders facing these crises. This initiative connects superintendents with experienced mentors who have navigated school shootings and other emergencies. The goal? To ensure no school leader has to face the aftermath of a tragedy alone. At Trident Group America, we understand that prevention and preparedness are the most critical elements of school security. Through Direct Action Response Assessment System (DARAS) and our comprehensive school security programs, we help schools identify vulnerabilities, train staff, and implement proactive safety measures—before a crisis occurs. School leaders must be prepared not just for what to do during an emergency, but also for how to support their community in the days, months, and years that follow. A well-trained team, a clear action plan, and a supportive network can make all the difference. ? Is your district truly prepared? Contact Trident Group America to learn how we can help your school implement effective security solutions that save lives. #SchoolSafety #CrisisPreparedness #Leadership #EmergencyResponse #TridentGroupAmerica
