Back in 2022 we launched our #StoptheBias campaign which looked at perceived bias in recruitment from a candidate perspective. This year we took it a step further. We not only relaunched the study to see whether things had changed, we combined the results with our own data, looking at over 2 million applications and nearly 70,000 hires to see whether reality matched perception. The results were shocking. Since then we've been up and down the country, sharing the findings, spreading the word and encouraging the recruitment industry to do better. We've run panels and webinars from a whole host of diversity and inclusion experts, giving practical advice around changes recruiters can actually make to make a difference. We've helped customers refine their processes for fairer recruitment and have seen an increased uptake in anonymous applications since the campaign. The research has also had widescale media coverage from several publications. Last week, we were incredibly proud when #StoptheBias received the Prolific North award for Best B2B Campaign. The aim of our campaign was to shed light on a huge issue in order to change attitudes and inspire action and we're so happy that this win is a small testament to our efforts. This is by no means the end though, especially when there is still so much work to do. You'll see #StoptheBias back again, bigger, bolder with more data and practical advice.
