Great upgrades have come to Interlochen State Park! The bath house and concession building now feature relocated entrances under a new covered porch, wrapped in red cedar to match the park’s natural aesthetic. Inside, you’ll find updated bathroom partitions, new accessories, and a fresh coat of paint on the ceiling. Outside, we’ve completed siding repairs and repainted the entire exterior, adding new doors and screen doors to finish the look. We’re also excited to showcase a brand-new timber-framed firewood shed, crafted with northern white cedar beams, exposed tongue-and-groove roof decking, and custom hardware, all sealed with a clear stain to showcase the wood’s beautiful tones. Exciting progress is underway at the Degraaf Nature Center! Our team has stripped this building down to the studs to give it a fresh new start. Our team also restructured the roof to put in a new one that has a higher pitch. Stay tuned as we continue transforming this space into something incredible. Last week, our team celebrated the second quarter of the year at TreeRunners Adventure Park. We enjoyed a few team-building exercises and then tackled the ropes course. Our team recently completed this unique project for the Road Commission of Kalamazoo County. From suspending an antique grader in the lobby vestibule ceiling to repurposing highway guardrails and transforming antique draft tables into a sleek worktable, this project was filled with creative touches. Each element contributed to a space that embodies functionality, aesthetics and the identity of the organization. Just in time for March’s reading month, our team at Kentwood Public Schools has set up cozy reading nooks at Townline Early Childhood Center! These hallway spots are perfect for the students to relax and dive into their favorite stories. In addition to the reading nooks, every classroom has newly installed cabinets and cubby spaces. We wanted to congratulate our clients at The Leaderboard on their 1-year anniversary! This was a fun project for our team, where we turned a former debt consultant firm into a cutting-edge virtual golf simulator bar. Our dedicated team covered everything from concrete infill to rough carpentry, bath accessories, doors and hardware, finish carpentry, signage, wall protection, and the construction of the stylish bar area.
