Umstead State Park, exploring the log art and learning about the park's history. An awesome #teambuilding opportunity to connect with one another outside of the office!

Yesterday we made our way to Chatham County to talk about why #HousingMatters! This March, in collaboration with Balance Community Advisors (BCA), we're bringing together community leaders from a variety of sectors to address housing affordability across the Triangle region. Huge thanks to Chatham County government leaders and BCA for joining forces with us in this work and to the folks at Chatham County Agriculture & Conference Center for hosting our convening. This month, Triangle Community Foundation is bringing together community leaders from a variety of sectors to address housing affordability across the Triangle region. In partnership with Balance Community Advisors, we're coordinating four county convenings, one each in Chatham, Durham, Orange, and Wake counties. With this opportunity to connect and convene a vast cross section of community voices, we aim to develop impactful solutions to this challenging issue. Yesterday, we kicked off these convenings at the Chapel Hill Public Library with a room full of great discussion and innovative approaches. Thank you to Orange County (N.C.) Government and Balance Community Advisors for hosting this convening with us. Next stop, Chatham County!
