On Friday, we celebrated our On The Farm Group Connection at the wonderful Paulus Farm Market! All of the families, parents and kiddos alike, had a blast with the different animals, reading their stories, and snacking on our delicious food. Parents were able to meet each other and bond over raising little ones in our Parents as Teachers program. Thank you to everyone who came out to spend time with us yesterday; we can't wait to see you again!

Today, Thursday, October 19th, we dressed up in purple for our third spirit day to show support for the LGBTQIA+ community and take a stand against bullying. We believe that everyone deserves to feel safe, accepted, and valued for who they are. By standing together in solidarity, we aim to create a more inclusive and supportive environment for all. Let’s continue to uplift and support one another every day!

On this Indigenous Peoples' Day, we honor the resilience, strength, and contributions of Indigenous communities. We recognize the rich history and cultural heritage of the Indigenous peoples who have lived on this land for millennia, including the Susquehannock, upon whose ancestral lands Tri County Community Action operates. We offer deep respect to their elders—past, present, and future—who have been the stewards of this land across generations. As we reflect on the enduring impacts of colonization, displacement, and historical injustices that Indigenous peoples continue to face, we commit to supporting their ongoing struggles for justice, sovereignty, and cultural Preservation. At Tri County Community Action, we believe in fostering a community grounded in equity and inclusion. Today, and every day, we reaffirm our commitment to working alongside Indigenous communities to honor their heritage, protect their rights, and amplify their voices.
