Having grown up right here in Northeast Wisconsin, we understand your needs and want to be the residential glass and door professionals you can count on. Additionally, we are locally-owned, so there are no hoops to jump through. Founded in 1960, Tri City Glass & Door was operated out of Richard and Shirley Bender’s home for 16 years. Now, 59 years later, the Bender family business has recently transitioned to an ESOP, and has expanded to include 110+ employee owners. We consider our employees and customers a part of our family, and strive to make Tri City Glass & Door a comfortable and welcoming environment. We're excited to announce that Tri City Glass and Door was a part of preserving a piece of Appleton's history! We donated and installed custom glass structures for some new displays at the Appleton Historical Museum. A big thank you to our dedicated team, including our company President Ryan Hartman, who worked tirelessly to make this project a reality. The glass structures are for the displays showcasing equipment from the Courtney Woolen Mill in Appleton. The mill produced batting for quilts since 1880. The mill closed this past July. Tom Courtney, the 4th-generation owner of the woolen mill, decided to donate the equipment to the Appleton Historical Society to preserve a part of history. This is just one of many displays within the museum. The grand opening of the Appleton Historical Museum is tomorrow, 11/20 from 5:00PM to 8:00PM. This event is free and open to the public. We are glad to be part of such a great way to keep the memories alive for the city of Appleton! #history #employeeowned #ESOP #locallyowned
