Trevcon was recently awarded a contract from Hunter Roberts Construction Group to construct the first and largest phase of the proposed Manhattan Greenway along the Harlem River. Trevcon will be responsible to fully demolish 1,600 LF of existing bulkhead structure and replace it with a new, pile-supported platform, consisting of a mix of both driven and drilled piles. Trevcon looks forward to working with Hunter Roberts’s partners, the New York City Economic Development Corporation and Langan Engineering & Environmental Services, on this endeavor, which will provide an abundance of green space for the use of local residents and others.

Trevcon Construction was recently awarded a design-build contract from MTA Construction & Development for Tower Fender Protection and Tower Painting at the Throgs Neck Bridge. Trevcon, in collaboration with its Designer, Langan Engineering & Environmental Services, will design and install new fender systems and security fencing to protect bridge towers from vessel collision, and modernize existing systems at the bridge, including tower elevators, decorative tower floodlighting, tower interior lighting, and fire protection improvements such as marine standpipes and fireboat mooring platforms. The project also calls for cost effective solutions to extend the service life of the bridge and reduce future maintenance requirements. Tasks include tower painting, inspection and repair of the bridge main cable and suspender ropes, as well as tower pedestal and strut concrete repairs and waterproofing. We look forward to partnering with MTA on this exciting project.
