The Trenton Thunder have drawn over 10.9 million fans to Trenton Thunder Ballpark over 32 years and have won the three major awards that Minor League Baseball teams can win; the Johnson Trophy for the "Nation's Best Franchise", the Larry MacPhail Trophy for Outstanding Club Promotion and the Bob Frietas Award for Long-Term Success (given by Baseball America). The team has given back over $9.8 million worth of goods, services, and monetary donations through the Grand Slam We Care Foundation.

Junior Knights Intramural Spring Sports Kickoff was a huge success! Families came out to learn about our incredible spring sports programs—Jr. NBA and Jr. WNBA Basketball, Flag Football in partnership with the NFL Flag Football Program, Lacrosse, and a very special Junior Knights Hit Pitch and Run Event!?Families heard from all of the coaches, the GM of Trenton Thunder Jon Bodnar,?and our team of dedicated Nurses. It was an honor to represent the Trenton Thunder at the Grand Opening of the Elder Pearlie Smith Library at Stokes Elementary School this morning. I look forward to seeing this beautiful room, full of books--many of which were donated by our generous Trenton Thunder community, used by students for years to come! A very special thank you to Smith Family Foundation for bringing us into this project and including us in this momentous day!
