The USC Foundation Gadsden + Greene Student Housing project offers modern living for the University of South Carolina’s second-, third-, and fourth-year students. Spanning over 700,000 square feet, it features charcoal gray concrete, cast-in thin brick, and a 580-space parking deck. Originally designed as a cast-in-place structure, the project was reimagined as a total precast design-build development, achieving a 15.6% CO2 reduction, demonstrating TRC's commitment to sustainability. BayCare HealthHub in Valrico, Florida, is a 145,000-square-foot healthcare facility designed to bring medical services and personal wellness under one roof. The facility includes a 30,000-square-foot fitness and wellness center, setting a new standard for integrated care. TRC Worldwide Engineering provided structural engineering design and construction administration services for this project. The building features steel framing, a welded and bolted moment frame lateral system, shallow foundations, and a two-story atrium that anchors the space both visually and structurally. ❗❗ Throwback Thursday ❗❗ Overlooking Lake Mirror, the Summit Consulting Office Building & Garage stands as an 8-story, 135,000 SF Class A office space, serving as the Florida HQ for Summit Holdings / Great American Insurance Company. The first four levels feature structured parking, while the upper four levels offer premium office space with terrace views. TRC Worldwide Engineering provided the structural design, incorporating 9-inch post-tensioned slabs, reinforced concrete framing, and vibro-replacement stone columns to ensure long-term stability.
