In support of locally-owned businesses that advance sustainable tourism, Travelzoo is telling the story of Lendimi African Safaris, a group of local tour guides who lead hiking and safari expeditions throughout Tanzania. When Travelzoo producer Jeff Kirshman and a group of friends decided to climb Mount Kilimanjaro, the decision to choose Lendimi to guide them was unanimous. As the party soon learned, their trek was anything but predictable, although their enthusiasm for cultural exchange and environmental stewardship was constant throughout.
