Returning from Las Vegas, I feel invigorated and full of inspiration. The future of technology, once imagined as distant, is unfolding before us in real-time. As a #Fulbright scholar, attending CES 2025 was a transformative experience, providing an unparalleled opportunity to bridge my artistic research with groundbreaking advancements in artificial intelligence and machine learning.
At the Italian Pavilion, organized by the ITA - Italian Trade Agency, I had the privilege of immersing myself in a vibrant innovation ecosystem. The pavilion showcased 46 exceptional Italian startups offering ingenious solutions to enhance lives, urban systems, and industries. Witnessing such creativity reminded me of how deeply rooted innovation is in Italian culture, and it was a source of immense pride to see our talent on a global stage.
While exploring the pavilion, I was particularly struck by the innovative approaches of two startups, Icarus Technology and Travel Verse. Icarus' use of AI to deliver continuous and personalized medical support is poised to revolutionize the management of chronic diseases, while Travelverse's integration of augmented reality and AI to transform travel planning highlights how emerging technologies can be applied in deeply human and experiential ways.
#CES2025 was more than just an exploration of cutting-edge technology. It provided an unparalleled platform to foster meaningful connections and partnerships that align with my ongoing research project.
Exploring synergies between my artistic pursuits and the innovative work of companies like Icarus and Travelverse, I was able to engage in dialogues about integrating machine learning, AI, and audience interaction into creative practices, laying the groundwork for collaborations that could redefine how we experience art and technology together.
The ingenuity I witnessed at #CES 2025 reaffirmed my belief in the importance of cross-disciplinary exchanges. Italian startups, with their bold vision and relentless drive, are not only competing globally but are also poised to lead in their fields.
I leave Las Vegas inspired, motivated, and equipped with new ideas to expand the boundaries of my work. The relationships forged and the insights gained will undoubtedly continue to influence my artistic journey, allowing me to contribute to a future where technology and art enrich one another in profound and unexpected ways. CES 2025 was not just a glimpse into the future; it was an invitation to be part of shaping it.
