Showcase your best practice as a poster presentation at the TCAA 27th Annual Trauma Conference. Each submission will also be considered for a 2025 podium presentation or presentation during the "Shark Tank Experience" session. Best practices do not need to be a scientific abstract or evidence-based, however, if you have supporting evidence, we encourage you to include it. Submissions will be accepted until January 9, 2025. Do you have a colleague who has demonstrated significant contributions or advancements in the field of trauma? Nominate them for the prestigious TCAA Award of Distinction! The recipient will be honored at the 2025 TCAA Annual Meeting in Las Vegas, NV, and will also receive complimentary registration. Nominees for the TCAA Award of Distinction must be a TCAA member and have a minimum of 5 years of experience in trauma. To submit a nomination, please complete an application and upload a 350-word essay explaining why the nominee should receive a TCAA Award of Distinction for Outstanding Leadership. The essay should be word processed, in 12-point Times New Roman font and double spaced. Current TCAA Board Members, individuals who served on the Board of Directors within the past 3 years, Committee Chairs and previous awardees are not eligible for this award. All finalists will receive a Certificate of Recognition signed by the TCAA Board Chairman and President. The award will be presented during TCAA’s Annual Meeting to be held on April 29 - 30, 2025. The fellowship program was designed to expand the fiscal expertise of trauma program managers who have shown a commitment to the field as well as the future of trauma care. The program consists of a two-week funded fellowship with TCAA staff, on-site in Mooresville, NC. This fellowship offers CEs, follows a structured curriculum and provides a pre and post evaluation and includes a project unique to participant's healthcare objectives. TCAA fellows get the opportunity to network with the TCAA staff, plus members from across the country. Additionally, they learn more about TCAA services and programs, including TCAA's advocacy efforts. There are opportunities to develop business and management skills, build a trauma finance knowledge base, analyze data and reports, and much, much more.
