Join us Monday on Resiliency Within as?Chia-Ti Chiu?shares her years of experience teaching #movement, #mindfulness, #somatics, and #resiliency building in New York City. ?? Listen *LIVE* @ 1pm PT / 4pm ET: https://bit.ly/RW9-23-24 ?? Watch LIVE on Facebook : https://lnkd.in/eQYnUmTS Chia-Ti will share her personal journey of resilience — from factors of developmental safety to learning how to move from #anxiousattachment to #secureattachment in relationships as an adult. She will address how she uses movement practices, including #yoga (hatha, vinyasa, restorative) and #qigong, which she offers to a wide range of age groups, including elders, adults, and teens, through community-based programs. In her teaching, Chia-Ti emphasizes that presence, groundedness, and #play are just as essential, if not more so, than the content itself, as they help create a transformative experience for her students. She will help us understand the connections between mind and body and how to understand our nervous systems. Chia-Ti believes that when we can attune to and access safety and connection, we can begin to support ourselves and others. We can increase our embodiment of #resilience. We can trust, hope, and feel — these beautiful markers of being human. *** All of our episodes are archived on: Spotify: https://spoti.fi/3StZR9M Apple Podcasts: https://apple.co/47cN7sn Amazon Music: https://amzn.to/46Zq70w *** #nervoussystem #communityresiliencymodel #regulateyournervoussystem
关于我们
The mission of the Trauma Resource Institute (TRI) is to create resiliency-informed and trauma-informed individuals and communities. TRI aims to take people from despair to hope through simple skills-based interventions based on cutting edge research about the brain. By building local capacity in diverse communities both nationally and internationally, access to treatment of trauma and stress is expanded, and resolution strategies can be developed to respond in a culturally respectful and appropriate way. As a trauma educational organization we are committed to the following values: ? Every individual, child and adult, has a natural-born resiliency. ? Individuals are entitled to interventions that are gentle, effective and culturally sensitive. ? Education and intervention about the common reactions to traumatic and stressful experiences must be available to diverse populations and cultures. ? Treatment of individuals suffering from traumatic stress reactions must be accessible and affordable to all members of society. ? Enhancing the capacity of communities to provide for their own members rather than relying on outside ‘experts” creates resiliency–informed communities.
