Meet Richie Lietzau, Director of Engineering & Procurement at TransTex Treating. Since 2011, Richie has played a key role in process optimization, guiding procurement and logistics functions, and driving engineering initiatives that directly benefit our customers. Richie holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University, with minors in Chemistry and Business. Before joining TransTex, Richie worked as a Project Engineer at CariSal, LLC, where he supported the development of a chemical facility in Trinidad, led environmental assessments, and helped strengthen procurement processes. Thank you, Richie, for your dedication, problem-solving mindset ,and the impactful contributions you’ve made to the TransTex’s success.

Meet Robert Shimek, Vice President of Field Operations at TransTex Treating. With nearly 40 years of experience in the gas industry, Robert leads our field teams, safety initiatives, maintenance programs, and budgeting with a commitment to excellence. Since joining TransTex in 2008, Robert has brought his prior leadership experience from Enterprise Products and El Paso Field Services to strengthen our processes and prioritize safety across all operations. His career began as an amine plant operator, and through years of hands-on work and leadership roles, he’s developed a deep understanding of what it takes to support our customers and deliver results. Robert’s dedication has contributed to an outstanding safety record and built trust among our team and partners. Thank you, Robert, for your invaluable leadership and commitment to TransTex’s success!

At this year’s TransTex Holiday Party, we celebrated not only our team’s achievements but also the remarkable career of a true TransTex legend: Henry Grubert. As our longest tenured employee, Henry dedicated over 17-years to TransTex, excelling in roles ranging from operations and field technician to project manager.
