TransTechSol is thrilled to announce that Shannon Long Bent?has joined the team! Shannon?is a Principal Systems Engineer at TransTechSol with extensive experience in Program and Operations Management, gained from 33 years working at Northrop Grumman and 25 years at the National Security Agency (NSA). At NSA, Shannon has worked and managed numerous programs, ensuring contract performance and delivery order success and compliance. As lead for one of the Big 4 Customer Service centers, she developed processes and team member capabilities, providing IT support for customers and setting the stage for the now IT service department that supports the agency.? She has led numerous IT programs, collaborating with developers, testers, and trainers to develop, deploy, install, and maintain operational systems including risk management activities, systems integration, verification, validation, mission assurance, and mission continuity.? Shannon earned a BS from the University of Maryland University College and an EMBA from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland, College Park. She currently serves as President of her county's School Board having been elected to the Board in 2022.
