Inaugural Meeting of the Shared Spaces Working Group Exciting news, in October, RTAG received a grant from Transportation For Massachusetts (T4MA) to foster collaboration between advocates for biking, disability rights, and pedestrians to improve understanding of the unique challenges individuals with disabilities face in Boston’s shared spaces. Toxic Tour Recap: Exploring Environmental Injustice in Roxbury On the final stop of our Toxic Tour, we explored new businesses and uncovered the history of what used to be, and the years of dedicated work for change. One of these local gems—Nubian Markets, provides groceries, butcher, cafe and community space, in a building with affordable apartments and other locally owned businesses. The space used to be a bus and train maintenance facility. It’s vital to know our history and support businesses that fuel our community.
