Halfway Through Our Ride Along Series with Hilltown CDC As we continue our Ride Along with our member organization in the Hilltowns, we're seeing firsthand the transportation challenges faced by local residents. Many travel long distances just to access basic needs like grocery stores, medical appointments, and work. Hilltown CDC’s partnership with the FRTA is delivering essential microtransit services, making it easier for people to get where they need to go. A special thanks to Irene, who’s been driving the micro-transit van and making a huge difference in the community. Irene is not only a reliable driver but also a valuable member of the community. With a new brand and a sharp articulation of their mission, Massachusetts Public Health Alliance has marked a new milestone in their work toward healthy, equitable, just, and thriving communities where racism, poverty, and zip code do not determine health or lifespan. We celebrate MPHA's ongoing work with Transportation For Massachusetts as they co-lead the Regional Transit Authorities Advocates Coalition, prioritizing the needs of transit riders as vital components of health equity.
