NEU4J which stands for New England United for Justice is?a strong grassroots organizing and valued partner that centers the leadership and voices of low-income residents in Greater Boston and in neighborhoods across Massachusetts. NEU4J engages and empowers families to speak up and become part of the solution to improve city and state focused on worker rights, childcare, housing, and voter protections and engagement. With a mission to promote Social, Economic, and Racial Justice. They are a leading and driving force in the community to take action. ?? In our T4MA Ride Along Series, we partnered with member ACE, riding various public transit from Dorchester to Boston, getting to talk with riders on their experience. ACE has been involved in the community of Roxbury for over 25 years, working on environmental justice and other social justice issues. They work to build up communities of color and low-income communities in Massachusetts to eliminate environmental racism, classism, creating healthy, sustainable communities. One of their programs REEP focuses on youth-led, adult-supported initiatives focused on environmental justice and community organizing. It empowers youth of color from Roxbury, Dorchester, and Mattapan by building leadership and promoting youth-driven campaigns and projects. We were fortunate enough to ride with and get to know these incredible youth advocates during our Ride Along.
